Alex Boyé

Alex Boyé has been entertaining audiences worldwide for over 15 years. Alex was born and raised in London, England, and has had hits in over 15 countries. He has sold over half a million CDs and has performed alongside such groups as Bryan Adams, George Michael, Simon Garfunkel, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, N'SYNC, Jay-Z, The Backstreet Boys, Jordyn Sparks, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, David Archuleta, and The Smashing Pumpkins to name a few.

Alex has performed in many notable venues across the nation including the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He also acted in a walk-in role in the CBS hit sitcom "How I Met Your Mother." His music has been featured in several movie soundtracks including Charly, The Dance, Baptist at the Barbecue, Suits on the Loose, and Church ball.

Alex simply refers to himself as the "Token Black Guy in Utah." He loves to laugh, and says some of the highlights in his life have been giving a Book of Mormon to Prince Charles, joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and marrying his wonderful wife Julie.

Alex recorded two solo songs on the new Tabernacle Choir CD "Come Thou Fount," which has garnered rave reviews and reached #1 on the Billboard Classical charts. Recently, Alex has performed at the Tabernacle Choir's sold-out Midwest tour, and at the Pioneer Day Commemoration concert in the Conference Center, he received a standing ovation from President Monson.

Cal Jackson and the Painted Desert Band

"Just your average folks making noise next door" may be the best way to describe the PAINTED DESERT BAND. The music they play follows a mix of newer country and dance style western to a little Southern rock to spice things up. If you have a little courage, you can have a great time learning and dancing a "cotton-eyed Joe" or do a little "Boot Scootin' Boogie".

Cal Jackson started this band in the early 90's because he liked to have a great time with music and still thinks it's a blast watching folks dance to the music he's playing.

The band hasn't quit their day jobs, but they know how to have a lot of fun after quittin' time.

Jon Burgoyne Band

The Jon Burgoyne Band has been entertaining audiences throughout the Wasatch Front area with their unique blend of Acoustic/Pop/Reggae for two years. They are regulars at the local country clubs and play many events and parties in Utah. They are currently working on recording an album.

Jon’s love of music stems back to age 10 and begging his Dad to get his drumkit out of storage so he could start taking lessons. Through school bands and other projects, Jon and fellow drummer Kevin Davis played in several bands together as drummers and percussionists. In later years, Jon played together with local group Soul Maloney in many clubs in SLC and Park City for 3 years. Though a drummer by training, Jon took up guitar at age 21 and began writing songs to perform for friends and open mic events. In 2008 the Jon Burgoyne Band was formed with Jon on acoustic guitar and vocals, the melodious Clinton Cain on mandolin, fiddle and backing vocals, Kevin Davis on drums, and Steven Davis on bass.
